Wally Palmar

As lead singer of The Romantics, Wally Palmar is amongst one of the most recognized vocalists of the 1980s power pop/new wave scenes. The group’s
self-titled debut album in 1980 yielded the hit “What I Like About You,” which carried on throughout the decade spawning several other singles including “Talking In Your Sleep,” “Rock You Up," “One in a Million,” “Test of Time” and “Mystified.” Throughout
that era, the group appeared on classic television shows like “Solid Gold,” “American Bandstand” and “Soul Train,” while continuously being re-introduced
to new generations through today via the extensive airplay on rock radio, various artist compilations, commercials and movie soundtracks.
